We are a real estate investment group which consists of successful investors and partners who have been investing in properties for years. We provide our members with valuable training about the market and real estate in general, as well as resources that will help them invest wisely and more easily.

About Instructors

The founders of FortuneBuilders – Than, Paul, JD, and Konrad – have been investing in real estate for more than 14 years and are considered among the top real estate investors in the nation. They actively invest in both residential and commercial real estate throughout the United States and Ireland. They own and operate multiple real estate investment and lending companies. Over that timeframe they have invested in more than 1,000 properties and counting. Their real estate development and investment company CT Homes, LLC is located in San Diego. The company has between 25 and 40 residential and commercial development projects going on at any given time throughout the year. The founders also invest heavily in income-producing commercial property throughout the United States and Ireland. Their commercial investments include apartment communities, retail properties, office buildings, and boutique hotels. In addition, Than, Paul, Konrad, and Jeff Carter started Grand Coast Capital, a real estate lending and investment firm located in Boston. This new company was started in 2013 and has already funded or made equity investments totaling more than $212 million.

  • Do I need a real estate license as an investor?

    No, but there are both pros and cons when it comes to the question of whether or not investors should acquire a real estate license. Investing in real estate as a licensed agent gives you unlimited access to properties listed on the MLS. With a license, you also have the potential to take home a larger profit because you don’t have to give away a percentage of your earnings to the agent you would’ve been working with. Obtaining a license also opens the door to a whole new networking channel, which is one of the best ways to find deals. Also keep in mind that not having a license allows you to work with a variety of agents whom might all specialize in different niches, giving you the opportunity to diversify your types of deals. On the flip side, becoming a licensed real estate agent doesn’t come free; you must invest a great deal of time, energy and even money to practice regularly.
